"​Its a fun, hands-on class where you get to make clothing/accessories you’re able to take home and use! I learned all different types of stitches, how to operate a sewing machine, how to cut fabric to use for projects."

"I love the hands on projects! You make super cool fashion creations that you can actually use! I love Mrs. Keeports the fashions teacher, I have had her two years in a row and she is the best! I learned how to sketch a fashion drawing design, how to sew, and many skills that come with! "

​Foundations of Art
"It was a very chill class and I really enjoyed the teacher. I learned a lot about art even though I wasn’t very good at it."

"It is a nice reprieve from taking academic based classes with lots of studying. In Art, the teacher usually just introduces the project for a day, then for a week or longer, students can do the project while listening to music, talking to friends, etc. I liked that the class is very easy-going and not stressful at all. However, the higher up art classes are a lot more fun because you have more independence on what type of projects you want to do."

​Intro to Family Consumer Sciences
"I loved how it gave a short intro to multiple individual subjects within one class year. Therefore this can give students better understanding on what they want to take the next year. I learned about how to sew, cook, interior design, and child development."

​Concert Band
"The thing I liked about this elective is that it went way more in depth with music and instrumentation than I did in any band class before. We are in the middle of learning all of the scales, we have completed almost all of the flat scales and the sharp scales are next down the list. We also have learned MANY of the musical vocabulary words and terms in Italian and English. This helps us understand our sheet music and the terms that are listed so we play the right articulations, dynamics and rhythms. Mr. Waldron is very helpful and hopes the best for all of his students so he does not shy away from helping you if you have a question about anything."

​AP Computer Science
"It is a fast-paced computer science course that you will enjoy if you have already taken Computer Programming. I learned about Programming in Java."

"This is a class that is so enjoyable. If you are with the right, people, you will have an amazing time. This is a very interactive class, and a great break in your schedule if you have hard classes. I would 100% recommend this class if you are interested in cooking, and baking. Even if you are not, this is such a fun class to take just to learn the basics in cooking and nutrition. You learn things like how to cook safely in the kitchen, how to cook healthy, and how to safely work with kitchen equipment."





​Personal Finance
"It teaches you how to manage your money in the real world."

"The first unit is college and loans and that is very helpful. Also we learn stocks, taxes and more important stuff you'll need in the future. I did like the bank fair we went to at the end of the year."
